What to Expect During Your Session

Client Corner

Expect to Feel Awkward

A general rule of thumb is that things that feel awkward in person look good on camera! Prompts like "kiss with your teeth" and "blow in her ear" are meant to encourage giggles between clients. It might feel weird for a minute, but I promise it looks cute! The best part is, when you're finished with the session and see the photos, you get to look back and see that not only did you have fun, but you looked good doing it!

"Give each other some big ol' Eskimo kisses!"

Expect to Have Fun!

I love offering clients a fun and unique experience. A typical session involves lots of movement, so make sure to dress comfortably (and cute, of course!) For my couples, expect to get up close and personal with each other. For my families, it's okay to let the kids have fun! Sessions are composed of both posing and lifestyle photos catered to the individual client(s) involved.

For example:

In addition to the traditional smiling photos, couples are encouraged to incorporate movement such as dips, spins/twirls, and piggyback rides.

Families are encouraged to hold hands, run around, and let kids climb on mom and/or dad's shoulders every once in a while.

Let loose and embrace your fun side for beautiful pictures and memories that will last a lifetime!

Expect to Get to Know Each Other

Just like I get to know you during the session, you get to know me! I found that when you know a little bit about each other it's easier to let loose and have a good time. No one wants to be stuck with a stranger taking pictures of them in silence for an entire session...talk about weird and uncomfortable! I am so very grateful for each and every one of my clients and can't wait to get to know you a little bit better.
