Fall is all about neutrals! The natural beauty of the environment should shine through in your pictures. In Alabama, our colors during the fall are more muted than other states. Neutrals not only allow for the colors of fall to shine through, but also allow for the subjects to pop. If you're looking for a more dramatic effect, I would recommend adding in a complimentary color listed such as green, navy blue, or cranberry. Variations of these neutral colors, such as rust, make gorgeous additions to your pictures.

Beware of patterns! Patterns might be cute to wear out in the town, but patterns tend to clash against the environment and against your partner/family's outfit. I suggest keeping it simple and combining neutrals and complimentary colors, keeping the neutral colors the priority. Neutrals can be paired together as light and dark, such as beige with a darker brown, or with a complimentary color such as light grey and navy blue.
As you can see, rust goes well with white, too!
